With every passing day, we are seeing more and more sunlight. But in these transitioning days from winter to spring, it’s really hard to tell when the sun will actually set. If you’re on a running trail, away from the street lamps, it can be a dark trek home. This would normally keep me away from the trail in the late afternoon this time of year, but now I have this handy-dandy headlamp to lead the way.
The Amphipod Swift-Clip Cap Light isn’t the kind that wraps around your head and can be uncomfortable. This lamp simply clips onto the bill of your favorite running hat or visor, and it’s powerful enough to light the entire path ahead of you. You can have a constant beam or a blinking light, if you prefer to use it as safety light (I’d throw it on the back in that case).
I highly recommend this little sucker to light your way and to alert others of your presence. Heck, buy two and cover all your bases. I’ll see you on the trails at dusk. — Amie
